1. Fulbright Foreign Student Program

Through the Fulbright Program, international students can apply for full scholarships to study for a master’s or doctorate in the United States from 155 different countries. Scholarships may also be awarded for postgraduate work that does not result in a degree. The program covers the cost of the student’s tuition, books, transportation, living allowance, and health insurance. Approximately 1,800 students receive scholarships as a form of financial aid each year.

2. Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program

Experienced professionals from pre-selected nations are given the chance to spend a year in the US exploring professional development possibilities through the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program. Among other things, the fellowship will pay for living expenses, school fees, health and accident insurance, and travel expenses. Each year, around 200 Fellowships are awarded.

3. Commonwealth Scholarships

Students from developing Commonwealth countries who want to study for master’s and doctoral degrees in the UK can apply for the Commonwealth Scholarships.
