What you will provide is as follows:

  • Reporting to the Practice Manager, Practice Administrator, Associate Director, or Director
  • The Office Supervisor is in charge of the general performance of one or more assigned medical practices in one or more locations with one or more doctors.
  • This role oversees, directs, administers, and coordinates all medical office operations, except those that directly involve professional medical judgment.

Duties

  • In charge of efficiently informing all employees and providers on rules, processes, forms, modifications, and requirements.
  • Keeps an eye on workers’ time and attendance, making any adjustments before the payroll deadline. maintains records of paid time off and CME for healthcare professionals per the contract.
  • To make sure that workers are motivated, valued, and engaged, survey data is shared, action plans are made, and their progress is tracked.
  • In charge of organizing the team to deliver top-notch patient care and creating and carrying out plans to enhance the patient experience.

Qualifications

To succeed, you’ll need the following skills and knowledge:

Minimum specifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree plus no prior healthcare experience, an associate’s degree plus one year of experience in the field, or a high school graduation (or its equivalent) plus two years of experience in the field
Preferred qualifications:
  • Preferably, four or more years of experience managing a medical office’s workflow, or one year as a medical office supervisor.
  • Preferably, you have an associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
  • Certification of Medical Office Manager
