Requirements for Applying

You are not permitted to be a permanent resident of Australia or New Zealand, nor can you be an Australian citizen. You have to be a citizen of a country other than New Zealand or Australia.
You plan to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy degree (no postponements allowed) or a Master of Research Year 2 degree.
You intend to reside in Sydney, Australia, for the duration of your candidacy.
Before the application deadline, you must have proven that you are skilled in the HDR English Language Requirement.
You meet the prerequisites to be enrolled in either the Ph.D. program, with a start date of your choice, or the Master of Research—Year 2 program (MRes Y2).
Because you will have a valid visa, you will be able to begin studying in S2.
A certified researcher connected to Macquarie University has confirmed that you will be supervised; this is required for FMHHS and preferred for the other faculties.
