Daniels Scholarship Program 2025 | US Scholarships: Apply Online

The Daniels Fund developed the Daniels Scholarship Program to assist driven and aspirational students who exhibit a strong sense of moral character, the ability to take on leadership roles, and a dedication to community service.

This award helps graduating high school graduates from Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming fulfill their scholastic and professional ambitions by providing financial aid for a college education.

Eligibility

To be qualified for the Daniels Scholarship Program, candidates need to:

Be a senior high school graduate
Hold a residency permit in Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, or Utah.
Hold a valid U.S. passport or residency status.
Possess a minimum unweighted high school GPA of 3.0.
At least the minimum ACT (18 points in each category) or SAT (490 Math, 490 Evidence-Based Reading & Writing) scores.
On your federal tax return for 2023, you must demonstrate financial necessity with an Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of $100,000 or less, with the possibility of additional income depending on the number of dependents.

Benefits

The benefits covered by this Daniels scholarship are:

Full tuition for partner colleges in the four-state area, or a maximum of $25,000 annually for institutions outside the area.
Books and materials, lodging and board, tuition and fees, and other incidental costs associated with education.
A laptop computer and continuous assistance over the academic year.

Application Process

Application Period: From September 16, 2024, until October 18, 2024, applications must be submitted online.
Phase of Semi-Finalists: Send in essay answers and recommendation letters between October 28, 2024, and November 15, 2024.
Verification of Documents: Provide the necessary paperwork, such as tax returns, test results, proof of citizenship and residency, evidence of college enrollment, and the FAFSA Submission Summary.
Semi-finalists will get notification in January, and those who make it to the finals will be invited for in-person interviews in February and March.
Selection of Scholars: Daniels Scholars are required to attend a scholarship orientation session in June after being named in late March.

Application Period: September 16, 2024, is when the application window will open, and it will end on October 18, 2024.
Semi-Finalist Document Submission: October 28 – November 15, 2024.
Finalist Notification: January 2025
Interviews: February – March 2025
Scholar Announcement: Late March 2025
